Project Pages, hosted by Video Consortium, is a curated digital showcase for nonfiction film and video projects in progress, from feature documentaries and shorts to shorts and series. It gives creators a seamless, visually stunning way to present their work to industry professionals, and gives producers, distributors, and investors a centralized hub to discover and connect with emerging nonfiction talent.
Any Video Consortium member who is directly involved with a documentary film project in any stage of development, production, or post-production can create a Project Page. Whether you’re an independent director or part of a larger production house, Project Pages offers a professional home for your work-in-progress.
Project Pages lets filmmakers easily share all key materials – loglines, treatments, trailers, bios, and progress updates – in one elegant, linkable space. Instead of repeatedly sending decks and files, creators can simply update their page and keep partners, funders, and press up to date automatically. It’s built to save time while amplifying visibility in the nonfiction community.
Industry professionals, including distributors, commissioning editors, festival programmers, and journalists, can browse, filter, and follow nonfiction projects across formats and regions. Each project profile provides insight into creative vision, production status, and contact options, making it an easy and equitable way to discover new voices and track promising works in development.
Project Pages highlights a wide range of nonfiction storytelling: feature-length documentaries, short films, docuseries, and installation pieces. The focus is always on factual, real-world stories told with cinematic craft and journalistic integrity.
No – Project Pages is designed primarily for projects in progress. It’s a space for filmmakers to share works in development or production and gain early visibility among potential collaborators, investors, and distributors before, during, and after premiere or release.
Project owners can easily create a page directly through the Project Pages platform by following a guided creation process. You’ll upload project details, visuals, and videos, then publish your page to make it discoverable to verified industry professionals. A Video Consortium membership is the only requirement.
Projects are indexed and searchable by theme, location, production stage, and format, allowing professionals to find exactly the kind of nonfiction work they’re looking for. Featured projects may also be highlighted in Video Consortium newsletters and partner spotlights, further boosting discoverability.
Absolutely. Each page is built to evolve with your project and serve as its one "source of truth." You can add new trailers, funding updates, or festival selections at any time. All updates are automatically visible to your followers, keeping your industry network informed without constant outreach.
Every Project Page includes a secure contact option for verified industry users to reach out directly to the project’s creator or representative. You can request information, discuss partnerships, or explore co-production opportunities right from the platform.
Project Pages is created and maintained by the Video Consortium, a global nonprofit organization that connects and supports today's nonfiction filmmakers and video journalists to tell bold stories that change the world.Â
By bridging creators and decision-makers, Project Pages strengthens the nonfiction ecosystem. It equitably empowers filmmakers to showcase their vision professionally, while helping industry professionals discover and champion authentic, untold stories from around the globe.
