The Nuclear Family

  • Directed by: Megumi Nishikura and Ari Beser

Logline

Two grandchildren—one descended from the only man who flew aboard both plane atomic bomb strike aircraft, the other from a man who survived both atomic strikes in Hiroshima and Nagasaki—form an unlikely friendship. The pair retrace their grandfathers history and raise a question that belongs to all of us: How many generations will it take for humanity to overcome the atom bomb?
